Why does it close so early? I just dropped my baby off at moms (3:15), and it says cloese at 4:30. this is the only place that i can hike at. We should change it to at least sundown.

Park outside of the gate. The gate is locked. The very front parking lot doesn't have a gate. However it only has one trail leading from it.

They need more parking.

The Park is open until sunset but automobile access beyond the first parking lot is closed at 4:30.

Gates open at 9am and close at 430pm. Park itself is open sunrise to sundown.
