What information does the DMV need to renew tags & registration? And can a spouse do it for their husband?

You can pay your yearly taxes there also but if already paid them yes take your receipt with you

You need proof that you payed your yearly car taxes. Then you sorry ,, then you can go get tags and registration from DMV. And yes your wife can do it for you.
