I intend to purchase a car in the next 2-3 months, does anyone recommend doing my own financing from my bank (MCU and Chase I have) or letting them help with the financing? Also should I let them help or stick with my insurance inquiries?

Get your own insurance. And ofc let your bank MCU finance the car. It will probably be better as well as a better rate.
