I would say it is for everyone older than 6 or so. It is mainly designed for children of any age who can read in my opinion. We went there as a group of college students and had a very good time too however. I'd recommend it for all children and anyone a little interested in science or mathematics.

Definitely good for all ages but more for kids. My math make friend and I went over the summer and it would have been fun if there weren't 5000 children running around unattended from summer camps. Definitely would recommend going on a school day to be able to enjoy it.
