I've honestly just dropped off my old dead batteries off at the Walmart Auto center. There's usually a cart by their checkout that has old batteries in it.
Turn it in to the place where you brought the new one... Go to any Autozone
Or to any auto scrap yard, might even get a couple bucks for it.b
You can simply take it to this shop or to any Autozone.
