Wonderful Rail-Trail. Google maps shows this trail dead-ended at Hartley Road but this is no longer true. It is now fully paved and extends to East Main Street in Middletown.

I find it to be a safe and friendly trail. It's wide and plenty of space for people to pass opposite directions. It's naturally lit, so evening and night is perhaps more questionable. There's enough cross roads and close enough to civilization that if you needed help it's not too far away.

Behind bank in Goshen is the parking lot. You can ride to Chester from Goshen. If want can keep going to Monroe and back. Smooth ride.
