Do you spay cats? If yes how much do you charge. I have two 5 1/2 months kittens up to date on shots, that i can not afford to get spayed. Thank you in advance for your time.

All animal adopted from Berkshire Humane Society are spayed and neutered before going home. We work with local veterinarians. The shelter doesn't fix animals not adopted from them; however, we do have some programs to help qualifying families who cannot afford to take their pet to the vet. Please give the shelter a call, and someone at the front desk can provide those resources. We also have a program each December called "100 Cats for Christmas." It's a low-cost, grant-funded program that allows us to help 100 cats and kittens get fixed each year. Hope this is helpful!

They have what they call a cat snip program 50 dollars, pay up front and there's kind of a long wait. But worth it!! 🐱🐱
