Can you have a picnic there? Permitted to sit on grass)

There is no space to lay down in the grass

You can picnic or eat an icecream as you want but you can't go in the grass. It have some bench pretty much everywhere

No it is narrow space but near the liberty paintings there is a wide space and steps to sit. Its next to ice cream vendor

I do not think that there is enough space for a picnic...

The grass was off limits when I was there last week, and as others here point out there is no space. But there are plenty of benches and also ice cream vendors there:)
