I had a stray cat hanging around my place and called them. They will let you bring it in for a check up and shots but you have to keep it for 2 weeks and take care of it. If by chance you have already been feeding it then it is considered your pet and no longer a stray. Therefore you are responsible for it. Not right i know. Just trying to help out a poor animal. If i have to do it again i would call them and just tell them it's mine and i can't keep it and see what they say. They will give you other cat shelter info. Good luck.
You can always try cat welfare association too. I know both shelters dont always have space and require appointments just to make sure they actually have room so they arent euthanizing for space. Try both though and let me know if you are still stuck after trying both. She could be lost too. Have her scanned for a microchip at any vets office or shelter (your options will be limited on sunday).
