No. But dressing in quality, tasteful clothing will help you feel more on par with the other patrons there.
I'm not sure about rewired, but if you can manage it, I'd say yes wear it.
I agree with the two gentlemen who replied; I'm sure my husband would feel much more comfortable at lunch there while wearing a sports jacket. Doing it is simple enough, and shows respect for the place you are going. That doesn't happen much these days, and it should. It won't kill you for an hour or two! Get over yourself! Everything isn't about you!
