You don't have to make reservations, but if you don't you may have to wait a decent bit.
No you don't need reservations if you're racing with a couple of friends but if you're having a party with a good amount of people then it's recommended that you make a reservation.
They dont take reservations unless its a party
Depends on the day I went on a Saturday when they first opened and I didn't have to it was empty.
