Thus, they will have to input the senior citizens status a few times before the computer stop and cease the jury duty notices.

I'm so sorry for your loss but unfortunately every person has to fulfill their jury duty obligation. And they call on people every 8 years. they even called in Barack Obama after his presidency. all you have to do is show up and bring them your papers and you will be excused. But you at least have to report that one day to get that done or they're going to keep coming after you. Best of luck
