@John Henry To clarify, yes, walk-in service is available. However, as mentioned, it should depend on what type of tests your physician has ordered (fasting, if they prefer blood draws at a particular time, etc...) with your personal preference playing a part as well. For example, I don't eat or drink anything but water until the evening so I'm fasting all day. Also, I'm not particularly a morning person. Therefore I can do my fasting bloodwork any time of day. Lastly, the Quest on 13th is generally pretty speedy but the upside to having an appointment is that appointments are taken first. I've never called for an appointment myself but did make an online account and easily make my appointments through my Patient Portal--I also get my results as soon as available through it as well. No you do not need to make an appointment!! Walk-ins are fine The only time you need an appointment is when your doctor tells you
