We are planning a visit next week from out of the area. Is there an eatery connected to the museum or should we arrange to lunch else where? If we have to leave for lunch can we return the same day?

Hi Pamela! The Museum does have two places where you can eat lunch during your visit! Both located are on our second deck. There is the Devil Dog Diner which is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and has hot food options and grab-and-go options. There is also have Tun Tavern which is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offers a full lunch menu. We hope you enjoy your visit!

They have a cafeteria in the museum, save some time to walk the outdoor trails.

The museum has two nice restaurants on premises, one is a great reproduction of the Tun Tavern, the birthplace of the Marine Corps. They also have reasonably priced meals, hope this helps.
