Many families hire private photographers or videographers to capture a funeral service. Other families have someone in attendance take photos or video; it is up to the family what they want to do. If the cemetery, ceremonial guard or branch of service sends people to cover the service, all footage is available to download at no cost because it is in the public domain. Please note not all services are covered by military public affairs staff.
I am not certain who does the video recording, but you are welcome to record the ceremony during the funeral.
