Not a place for you to go eat and drink. Wow can not believe u just asked that. And if your diabetic take things with you or eat first. There is a tour shuttle to take you around.
Hi Margaret - as others have stated, there is no restaurant on the grounds of the cemetery. There is no eating allowed within the cemetery either. There are picnic areas by the Marine Corps War Memorial, and several eaters in nearby neighborhoods to include Rosslyn, along Columbia Pike in Arlington, Pentagon City and Crystal City.
No food beyond snacks. To save money you are better to pack light snacks with you in DC area. Cafes anywhere are on the more expensive side. I would suggest the USDA cafeteria. It is sold by the lb. And had a great buffet style selection. Average price and you get a good meal.
Theres a little souvenir shop in the main hall of the visitors centre where you can buy snacks and bottles of water.
