Can i walk through the cemetery or do i have take a tour?

You can walk thru the whole cemetery.

Arlington is a very large cemetery. The good thing is if you take the open shuttle bus. You can get off of it when they stop at key places. Like President Kennedy eternal flame. Or other places. You can walk. And you can also hop back on when you want to. There are plenty of beautiful places to walk.

And it can be a long walk.
