Look up!!! Seriously, take a hike across the dike. It is now paved so wheel chairs and walkers are fine too. Bonus... plenty of parking and restrooms at the trail head. While walking here, be quiet and look around the underbrush and water on both sides!!! And always, always, look up!!! Also, further along on the left is the tower that you can climb. Usually lots of birds in area. The little islands on both sides are usually plentiful with birds. We saw beautiful white pelicans and lots of osprey. Take time to look and enjoy the beautiful birds.

Everywhere... especially this time of year. The last time we were there we saw several semi rare and infrequently seems pieces of bread life, Dolphins, alligators and we had a great time as well. The roads are easy to travel and their places to stop along the way with short Boardwalk walks.
