Hi Mike, give BMW of Fort Myers' Service Department a call to set up a service appointment to double check the warning light that's present on your dashboard.
The Service Engine light coming on means there's a problem. You need to get a service appointment to get it on their computer to find out what is wrong with it. The newer cars will direct you to what the problem is, but regardless you can't reset it bc it's indicating a problem. Call the service department unless you know someone that has a shop with a computer that can read the codes. I can tell you I had a mechanic when I was up north, but haven't found someone down here.
