I work for hotel property in Baltimore. I was having my check garnished, But the issue is the garnishment has been satisfied by tune of $2000.00 overpayment. I'm wondering if I need to get a lawyer.

Garnishments In Alot Of Situations Aren't Constantly Being Reviewed While They Are Being Deucted From Your Pay. I Would Contact Whoever Is Doing The Garnishment, And Let Them Know You Have Over Paid The Judgement And Need To Be Reimbursed. If That Doesn't Produce You Being Reimbursed, Then Contact Legal Aid ASAP.
