How can they charge you where people were killed? Do the families of the deceased have to pay as well to see the names of their loved ones?

They don't charge you to see the memorial. There is a charge to go up into the observatory.

You have to pay for elevator up to the Observatory (city views). Memorials located outside (two fountains with the names), which are free. Also outside you could go to 9.11 museum and Oculus. They both located outside of WTC One.

I think you're referring to the memorial park across the street which is free. The One World is the New World Trade Center and is a great experience. That one you have to pay for.

Hakeem, I understand what you mean, but unfortunately they need to make money to pay for that building. It's actually not too expensive to go up and it's a beautiful site to see! It's worth the ticket price.

Thank you everyone. I've been feeling a little sceptical about this whole thing.
