When we don't have covid it's for swimming and the Recreation Dept in the summer has programs there too.
It's a park, it has a playground for kids, walking paths, and a beach. The pond is stocked with trout and is also a Bass Management Area. The dog pound is there as well. All in all, a nice place to visit and spend time.
It's a public park with paved walkways for walking or biking there's a pond you can fish at or swim on the beach side there's a pavilion you can rent for parties and their is grills picknick tables and a playground for kids no dogs allowed....very nice place very clean and plenty of places to park
