I have had the same problem with sporting goods not answering yet at most times there are form three to four people back there. When there in person the boys are quick to explain that they are firearm experts and will attempt to prove it by droning on for hours about it if you let them.
I never had a problem with them not answering a call at least not from us we used them every week or 2 because they sell propane send have a nice little store inside with alot of unique items. But it is true they only have very little staff so maybe when you called they were just busy or closed..
They have few employees but lots of business that's probably why they can't help people and answer the phone at the same time it's a great store I wish we have one just like it here in Granbury
