Hike to the beach is about 30 to 40min (depends on your speed)
There are SEVERAL trails ranging from the small 30 min one others are referring to the beach & others up to a couple hours! Some leading inland as well. They usually provide you with a map that shows where all the trails are & if anything its posted large in the parking area. Day use only so you need to plan to be out of there by sunset unless you're camping in their designated camping area in which you will be assigned a ticket that you will place in your window which will avoid you possibly getting a ticket for being there after hours if you plan to Camp call ahead to reserve... this area is great but since it is close to the beach it does get cold in the morning. *Previous employee
We were there about 2 weeks ago, and there were wooden planks crossing the stream, so we didn't get wet at all. Oh, and the hike from the parking lot to the beach is approximately 1 mile, each way.
25-30 minutes. Need to cross a creek with knee deep flowing cold water :)
30min walk. Around 2 miles. There's a small water body that needs to be crossed right at the start. It's usually easy, but the water level peaks in the spring, to about knee height.
