Do they help finding a shelter that will help you get a apartment and a job or you and your kids got to be in shelter with no help finding a apartment or permanent housing programs

I'm in a shelter now. The shelter itself does help you by assessing your (housing) needs (and that of your kids if you have any). And they will help you find housing that are accepting applications and help you apply, like SECTION 8, CHA and HUD or any other affordable/low income housing Then they let you know if anything becomes available. I only been here one month. I don't know about jobs cos I'm on disability...Hope this helps.
