I think it's up to you. We went to dinner and I was without a jacket. Lunch should be relaxed and with .25 Martinis whose to notice? We sat on the patio in a beautiful spot and if anyone cared it was their problem not mine. Bon appetit!
They no jeans or sneakers. However, it is a very popular tourist spot so they will likely allow you there. The expectation is for men to suit/sports coat nice pants, etc...
We, as locals, tend to dress up to eat there and disdain, politely and quietly, to ourselves those who don't. Be a typical tourist or be a classy local, your choice.
Lunch is more casual, collard shirt and nice pants seem to work. You still get the great service and food and don't forget those .25 cent martinis. It's a great experience.
If you need a sports jacket you need a suit and tie and no jeans what are you doing one thing good people is bougie and if they bullshittin Debbie the food ain't no f****** good
I wore nice jeans with a sport coat. While there someone came in in ratty jeans and a jean shirt. Send they are very forgiving. We had a great time, BTW. Great food.
Reservations are required. I would not wear jeans or shorts there. They to adhere to some dress code. A nice shirt and tie goes a long way. Night time you will need a jacket.
Yes
I wore dark/nice jeans with button down, and the staff themselves were totally fine (they're amazing in general). And there were two other guys like that too, but everyone else dressed up so you do feel a little out of place.
I would say no. My group of 4 ladies wore dresses.
Not really A sport coat at least, and go dockers or other pant instead of jeans (even if they're expensive ones). Its delightfully old world.
I'd say no to jeans. If they're nice dark jeans then maybe. I wore a blazer and tie to lunch and felt comfortable. There were two guys who sat at the table next to my wife and I dressed very casually, i.e. jeans and tee, and they looked very out of place.
I think you'll be okay, but I wouldn't wear sneakers. Might dress it down just a bit too much.
