Spectrum is awful service more items for u to loose and replace and use batteries for service that barely works and they are rude service
The cable remote is universal just program the remote to operate your tv once you do it you only need the cable box remote
One is the original that came with TV. The other is for just the cable box. You can program television basics on the spectrum remote but if you want to do detailed adjustment to your TV you need the original remote. I hope that helps
