The size of the bucket depends on more than just how many pieces for example a 12 piece crispy normally comes in a large bucket but a 12 piece original comes in a medium bucket there are bucket meals starting at 6 pieces but it's not on the menu then there is 8, 10 normally a coupon, 12, 16, and 20 to know how many of what pieces are in a bucket divied by 4 if the bucket can't be divided by 4 then remainder of the chicken will be dark meat [thighs and legs] for example the ten piece divided by four equals 2 with a remainder of 2 so there will be 2 of each piece plus one thigh and one leg all buckets can be changed to all dark or all white meat If there is enough available there is typically a upcharge for white meat. There are four different pieces they offer Breast and Wings [White Meat] and Thighs and Legs [Dark Meat]
