On 7/14/22 I went to Core Life to get a healthy supper to take out. When I arrived at 7:30pm there were two parties in line ahead of me. The lady taking orders moved along quickly and I gave her my order. She prepared the bowl with the greens and moved my prep bowl down the line. The couple before me had ordered meals that included avocados and the guy preparing the bowls was having a difficult time with opening and removing the pit. Struggling with scooping the avocado out of its peal and making a mess out of it, he finally finished. The second proved to be even more of a challenge. When he finished both he added what I believe was salsa, spilling some on the counter. He looked around thinking no one saw him and scooped it up and put it back in the container. Next he went to the grill and started grilling what appeared to be chicken even there was already a staff member at the grill. A customer who was by the beverage counter called to him and he went and took the bowl she handed him and started adding ingredients into it. No one at this point had paid attention to my order. A tall gentleman came from the back, saw my order and added a few ingredients then went into the back again. A staff member who appeared to be the manger came out of the back with two other staff. The manager looked around, spoke to a couple staff members and then disappeared to the back. Now there were at least five or six staff with most of them just standing around talking. Over 20 minutes had gone by since I first ordered and my order had barely been given any attention, I simply walked out. I have been to Core life many times and never had such a negative experience and it will be awhile, if ever, till I go back to this location though it is close to my home.

Seems like when I come here service gets worse every time. The ladies making my lunch today were talking and not even paying attention. Ordered a south west bowl. The two girls skipped immediately over the cheese and avocado. I asked them if I could get it. The girls added it on and continued talking. They then just started putting dressing on, did not ask me which one I wanted. (When initially ordering i asked them to put the dressing change in the slip but i was instructed to let them know when they put it on) I apologized and told them I wanted the carrot vinaigrette. They remade the salad but no longer addressed me. Got to check out and i paid. My food was left on the inside edge of the counter and the worker walked away. Had to reach around the barrier to retrieve my food. I’ve worked in this industry for many years and I’m thoroughly disappointed in my experience.

Fun place to have a really good lunch. The Korean BBQ bowl was really tasty I felt good about what I was eating. It had a nice variety without being too heavy or feeling like I had eaten too many carbs. Staff was really friendly and it was very clean and inviting. We ate inside but there were a bunch of tables out front that looked nice, especially since they were in the shade.

Used to come here a lot, unfortunately the speed of service has diminished, with the way they prepare things have really slowed it down. Yes they get busy, but they create the lines instead of working thru it. Sizes of salads have gotten smaller as well. Overall just felt like I was an inconvenience to the person taking my order,.as I watched him carelessly make of mess of rice and what not all over the counter! Probably choose somewhere else from now on.. Just an update, been very sick all night, I believe die to the rubbery, undercooked chicken. Will not return
