The buyers are trained to buy clothing, shoes, and accessories based on trends and season. From H&M to Rag & Bone, the label doesn't matter so much as: is it cute? is it on trend? or is it an exciting or unique piece, like cool vintage in great condition? Not everything has to be in perfect shape- but no stains or holes, stuff that's generally in good shape that someone could buy and wear that day. Keep in mind they only have limited space and they have to provide a variety for their customers, so sometimes they just don't need certain stuff that they might want at other times. As others mentioned, it's a good idea to call ahead and ask what they need, and no, they do not take kids clothing.
Each piece of clothing is rated by a Buffalo Exchange employee and they only want the top trending items preferably in season they're really not going to buy anything with rips or fringes on the bottom of the jeans they don't want stains or tarnish clothing
Only adult clothing, no children's clothing. It has to be in season. Its best to call to find out what they currently need then to drag a bunch of stuff there that they won't take.
