We not require a referral unless the insurance company requires it. Certain insurance plans require a referral or authorization from the PCP to be seen by a specialist. Patients are welcome to call us directly to schedule an appointment.
I was referred to Knight Neurologist and I felt very relieved as I entered. The people working there I highly commend and the doctor listens with true concern about the problem. They accept Medicare and secondary insurance too.
My primary care doctor did the referral. I would imagine since this is a specialist. Im with Heath First, can't say about other plans. I do like Dr. Patterson. Best wishes.
