I would like to take my grandson fishing for the first time, and would like to know if the fishing good for a young boy to learn how ti catch his first fish. (lots of nice size fish not babies)

There are better places to teach fishing than here, I know some parks in Upper Arlington have pobds where you can fish, I think that will be bwtter than at the river.

Not the best place to learn fishing since the water is moving fast and the hook is probably going to get stuck under rocks Antrim lake would probably a better place

There are many places to fish on the scioto river. Past the zoo going north, there are many parking areas people fish at.

It's an ok place to fish, although I'd recommend Alum Creek Reservoir over Scioto Park.

When we were there the river eas moving pretty fast. I wouldn't take a young kid there to fish.

Not many people fish at that site. Glick road Dam a better place.
