We LOVE it here! It opens doors, that's for sure; but it's what your granddaughter is willing to put into it... traveling is a MUST... If no one is willing to travel for the auditions/shoots, then why do it? It's a LOT of work, and dedication. Go to all of the classes that are offered & have fun and learn. They give training, help with confidence & opportunities, they don't give someone a career- that has to be earned... By going to go sees, auditions, and understanding that sometimes, it is not that you/your child/grandchild are not talented/attractive, it's that they have a specific look/image that they envision (like when you a book & imagine what the characters look like), being able to handle the rejection gracefully & using it to grow is key! One has to go in here understanding that this is a wonderful place to grow & learn from talent... however, one should be willing and able to travel (and possibly even move) - if thats not feasible, then you can't blame the agency.
