I can't thank JCC enough. Since my time in LA, I have been fortunate enough to sign with many different agencies all across the nation. This has led to many new opportunities I never thought possible and roles I have only dreamed of playing. I'm so glad I was a part of the LA Talent Tour, otherwise I may not be where I am today. For those actors out there wanting to pursue your dreams and take that first step into become an actor, just put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking out the door to your dream role!

I have to agree with people on here.. I hate to write a negative rreview.. but please don't waste your money. DO YOUR RESEARCH and find someone who really wants to help you.. I completed the course paid almost 3000.00.. only to find out they didn't have me completed in their system.. had to redo a few months and paid for that as well- almost another 1000.00. Once again I finished it out.. never got my contract headahots or any help. I've tried several times to get help or information from them. Was even dumb enough to offer them more money to try to take classed or something thru them so that I could continue our business together.... just wasted time and money.

Questions & Answers

OK I read the reviews and a lot if people said it was a scam but I talked to the guy that works there and they seem like a good agency I dont know who to believe?

I don't understand why everyone considers them a scam. You are paying for classes and training to become a model and/or actor. It is all up to the individual how much time and effort he/she puts into it. Don"t you pay for dance, gymnastics, martial arts, piano, voice, etc.? How is this any different? My daughter loves her classes and workshops. Her confidence and speaking skills have dramatically increased. She has been with them for less than a year and she has been in a fashion show and has been cast as an extra in a popular show. Even if she doesn't persue this as a career, she has gained interviewing skills and other skills to make her more successful in life.

Its a tuition and its about 32 weeks. Less than 3000 and you can take and retake classes.

Do you have to take the classes in order to get representation?

Model & Talent Management- Columbus | Sep 23, 2020

No, you do not have to be trained by us to be represented, but we highly recommend having coaching or a background in the industry before entering cold. As competitive as our industry is, it is best to have knowledge on how auditions work and to have some skills to audition and land the job. Otherwise, you will audition and get a lot of "no's" before you book anything usually. Our clients expect the best talent from us and you will compete against the best trained models and actors in the industry, it is much easier and less frustrating and scary if you know your craft and your industry regulations first. We are a team of 15 agents, managers, photographers, makeup artists, business coaches, acting coaches, runway coaches - you definitely do much better with our team behind you! That is what makes us stand out from the rest!

This agency is a full scale modeling agency that specializes in all areas of modeling. I suggest making a phone call to the Columbus corporate office which answer many more questions than I am qualified to answer my friend. I can tell you that whatever desires you have when you enroll in their education program they will assess and articulate a strategy to accomplish your goals while identifying other talents you possess that you never knew you had. My advice to you is not to get stuck on one thing. Learn all you can and open yourself up to instruction, truthful constructive criticism and direction. Doing this will take you further than your personal expectations. I was recently cast as an extra sports fan in the Netflix movie "Auquaman" filmed in Pittsburgh, PA in Nov. Shot multiple scenes in a 12 hour one day shift. Exhausting work. No guarantee my scene will make the movie but because of MTM (John Casablancas Modeling Agency) my resume, training & photos got me chosen.

What is your agency really into

Model & Talent Management- Columbus | Sep 23, 2020

It is a great place if there are openings in her age group. Otherwise, we turn people down for future waiting lists - unfortunately that does not always make people happy! Contact us at www.jcmodelandtalent.com and fill our an application, and we will make sure you get information! It's an amazing business for the right people, but Columbus is a small market - we can't work with everyone that inquires, but we are always happy to discuss talent for the future!

Are they going to ask you what you want to do becaise me and my cousin are doing one of them

The majority of actors, singers and models you see on tv (almost every single one) have taken acting, singing and modeling classes my friend. You just dont get on camera without proper training, education and experience. You dont get to be a dean of a college without having a bachelors, an mba, a masters and a PHD. And even then you need to show experience aside from that training and education. Modeling agencies are comparable to community coleges. They prepare you for the real thing, universities and television. You could spend your time watching tv and practicing to be a model, singer or actor on your own. OR you could enroll at JC-MTM and get realtime industry training from trainers who've been on tv and modeled and acted. OR, you can continue listening to people who are complaining about how much it cost to take classes at the agency. No pain no gain my friend. Education, Clout, experience and success is never free. My advice is- if you want to be something in life be about it. ❤
