I don't understand why everyone considers them a scam. You are paying for classes and training to become a model and/or actor. It is all up to the individual how much time and effort he/she puts into it. Don"t you pay for dance, gymnastics, martial arts, piano, voice, etc.? How is this any different? My daughter loves her classes and workshops. Her confidence and speaking skills have dramatically increased. She has been with them for less than a year and she has been in a fashion show and has been cast as an extra in a popular show. Even if she doesn't persue this as a career, she has gained interviewing skills and other skills to make her more successful in life.

It’s not so much a “scam” but if a company truly wants to represent you, they won’t charge you for them to find you jobs. They will use you and send you out because at the end of the day, you will make THEM money by doing the jobs.

If chosen, you pay for training. After training you can apply for jobs. You are not guaranteed those jobs. I signed up two of my daughters and one has been quite a few auditions, but not hired yet. My other one may never work, but has increased her poise and confidence. So it is more of a place to get training and exposure to have a chance at acting or modeling. It is not a guarantee. Good luck!

A scam involves participants where one participant is a benefactor in the scam. The department of education, child labor laws and business laws dont allow for scams in the case of this modeling institution my friend. Especially when both parties are benefiting here. Modeling students arent paying for a pass to Hollywood or stardom. They pay for education and training in the talent industry so it is unrealistic to claim an agency is a scam after goods are purchased (goods meaning the education) then expectations aren't met. The agency cannot perform the audition, sing the songs or play the scenes for people. The only scam is the person who paid for the education and training and not putting forth the effort to be successful in the industry. I think the real scam is people who do this. They are actually scaming themselves...or wasting agency time. No refunds for scammers. They don't deserve one.

Hi Paris! Thank you for your interest! Our business is a different industry than most - we interview a lot of people, but most are turned away unfortunately. (That upsets people, and they lash out on the internet). We just can only take on the best! We can put your name on our waiting list to be contacted if we have any openings if you like. Currently, we have a full roster of very talented models and actors, but depending on your interests, height and skills, we may have openings in your division at some point. To learn more about us - go to our website and check us out! www.jcmodelandtalent.com By the way, a scam is when something is promised and it isn't really real. I guarantee you, we are real! We have been in Columbus for over 30 years, and we are ranked nationally as a top management and training company!

Ive attempted twice. Big scam everyone gets accepted everyone gets graded a B which means they want you but your unexperienced. I mean if you wanna find out for yourself go ahead but you will most definitely regret it.

I work at a legitimate company (won't say company name here) but a lot of people i call to try and help, think my company is a scam. And when they find out that we are not a scam, its usually too late, and have cost them more money. Its so sad that people who do scam people make it hard on legitimate companies like mine.

I went in to one of their hiring events. They were seeing probably a few dozen people an hour after a phone call that they were looking for models and actors. I went in as a voice over actor. Was told I qualified for a callback and went in, excited to show what i could do. I spoke with the guy for a second, he took a couple photos and said i qualified for their school as i want quite polished as an actor. I didn't even do any voice work to show what i could do, and after i prodded he said it was since i didn't have a head shot. I went home, dad since i couldn't afford the school and looked it up to discover just about everyone qualified for their school. It isn't a modeling agency for the most part, it's an advertisement company for their school. The few people i saw who claimed to actually get brought on as polished actors/models for no/close to no auditions. There were about three hundred reviews calling it a scam and like ten people who were five stars, probably employees. Scam.

My brother and his daughter my niece just got the second audition and they got on the good side they are so interested in my nei d she is 9 and they love her he done paid 80$ and has to pay like 370$ more by next weekend. I'm not sure what to believe but I feel like this is a marker point in my neices life when she made it as a talent star she was so happy in red in the face. I'm sure everything will work out she's going to be trained and will get audition after audition till someone seeks to like what she has to offer. Time will tell

Need to know asap is there any proof that they are a scam. I know someone who is going to pay them 400 bucks, and if it's a scam I'm sure they could really use the money on much better things than getting scammed! They have a baby. Which I know scammers care nothing about but I do.
