All minor surgery is still done at the Salisbury VA due to if there are any complications they have the medical equipment and medications. Charlotte VA unfortunately does NOT have what is needed. Even a minor ER clinic in Charlotte would save a lot of lives of Vets like my husband and I. Unless we want to go to the local ER and run the chance of paying over $6,000 we have to drive for over an hour sit in traffic for 45 mins longer if there is even a fender bender then we have to wait to be seen.
They might do minor surgery if you call your doctor and other type of surgeries might be done in Salisbury or Durham VA Hospital.
