I heard there is an Elmo tree. Who or why is it there for?

The tree with all the Elmos is located off a side trail from the Bentley Loop near Negas Road. Somebody attached forty or more Elmos. No explanation was left. They are showing the effects of a hard winter. Most people like it.

Somebody attached a bunch of stuffed Elmos to a tree on the Bentley Loop. It is disturbing and funny at the same time. It really isn't something to go out of your way to see.

I've never heard of that while living here over 50 years but then I'm not really into Elmo. Now Miss Piggy...

I don't know anything about the tree but google Myles Standish and ask the Question.
