Sir Doughnut
Great food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere.

The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t worth the expense, by any stretch of the imagination. Two $14 martinis made improperly with VERY little liquor. Scallop dish was $34 and I was given 4 scant TBLS of cauliflower purée beneath five VERY small scallops with a tiny arugula lemon dressed salad. The $13 kids meals (chicken tender/fries and linguine) do not include the $3-4 children’s drinks. The $42 Truffle New York medium rare steak was cooked medium well with ZERO truffle and was unbearably peppery. I cannot say that the meals were terrible, and the service was indeed lovely, but $200 for a couple weak martinis, three children’s meals, a not so special steak with mashed potatoes and a scallop meal (appetizer sized) was not reason enough to go back. Caution.

Food atmosphere and service were spectacular. What a gem.

Honestly this place should be ashamed of itself. I now understand why, on a Saturday in summer, you had hardly any customers. First, let me tell you that charging $54 for a 15oz piece of ribeye, not even a full pound, that you absolutely ruined to the point I had to bring it home for my dog, who looked at me as if I had nerve to feed him something this overcooked, should honestly be illegal. I live on the Cape, where an amazing 1lb ribeye goes for 34 and that's expensive. But they season it and make the whole plate worth while. You charged me $54 for a15oz ribeye that was so overcooked I could hardly cut it. You forgot my husband's asparagus, all 4 of them, and nothing, and I mean NOTHING was seasoned. I don't like leaving reviews, much less bad ones, but what you guys are doing is awful. Price gauging beyond anything I've ever seen. I wanted to try this restaurant for so long, thinking farm to table is exactly how it should be, but honestly, you people give a bad taste to honest restaurants who serve great food at a reasonable price.

I would recommend calling and asking. They might be able to make something gluten free for you upon request if they don't have anything to offer on the menu normally. It's worth asking!
Hello! We are so glad to have you back! Yes, there is a seperate menu for brunch. I have posted pictures of the brunch meny on Google. Some menu items from the dinner menu are on the brunch menu, as well as some breakfast items. We hope to see you at brunch soon, Crane Brook Restaurant
