Their website says that you can use your NYCID card to get a Wildlife Conservation Society card for free, and the WCS gives you free admission to the Prospect Park Zoo (and other local animal parks). However, you must go up to the Bronx Zoo Admissions between 10:00am-3:45pm to get the WCS membership and card. That's the only place to get it.
