Kay does repair jewelry from Kay's or otherwise but they do not do it in-store. They inspect it in-store, then it is sent to the corporate repair team. If you'd like to be able to readily check on your piece(s) and they are not from Kay (or you don't have the Kay warranty), I would take your jewelry to a local jeweler. There are several small business shops in the area that do appraisals and repairs, including Cobblestone Peddler and Fontana Jewelers, etc.
Yes they do and you didn't have to purchase it from them. They quote you a price and you can decide if you want to go with them.
Yes they do repairs. We had a ring resized, and a bracelet clasp replaced.
