We didnt have a problem with mosquitoes and we were there during the hot months.
Sometimes. I got about half a dozen bites, through my shirt even, in 30 minutes or so, but that's probably because I forgot bug spray... It is a swamp, after all...
No. Our abundance of dragonflies take care of them.
Phinizy Swamp park has mosquitos. The park is kept as natural as possible so there is no spraying of any insecticides. Obviously due to the abundance of water the mosquito concentration there is higher than in urban areas. So it is always a good idea to bring personal bug spray like "Off" when going to the park. I go there very often and rarely feel the need to use the bug spray. However you may be more sensitive to mosquitos than me.
We were there in April and had no issues with mosquitoes
This year there hasn't been a problem with mosquito bites, but wear Skin So Soft or bug spray anyway
No there not a problem
We never had a problem with them very beautiful walk
We've never had a problem but we use off spray
During the warmer months, they can be, but really the gnats are more of a nuisance than anything else
In warmer weather but they are controlled with your favorite repellent! 😃
Honestly, I have never been bit by a mosquito there. Sometimes there are a lot of gnats shortly before sunset though.
