I bought a washer and dryer and was told i had any problems you can within 30 days bring it back and they will replace it. Unless you bought the extendered warranted you need to call the company that makes them for repair.
Newer fridges have computer boards that fail even when the mechanics are ok . Call the manufacturers. A computer board can be easy to fix. It is also important to find out if there have been recalls. You could call your lowes specialist for that info. Vendors have many recalls that do not get publicized. All appliances have computer boards today. Put your plug in a surge protector. It is a primary reason new appliances fail. Also keep in mind that there are 2 boards in many fridges and when one goes it damages the other. Had this happen to me with my GE. Once I had the surge protector and boards replaced, it was still working 7 years later. I used to work for lowes and this is how I learned about this.
There is usualy a number on the fridge. Call and they will ask for some info. They can tell you if it's under warranty or not. You call also call Lowes and speak with someone. They should be able to help you find the same info.
Call a repairman it's probably out of warranty.
If you didn't buy an extended warranty I'm afraid you're on your own.
