All orders are placed contactless on a pair of touch screens, and your name will be called when ready. The number of people inside is limited to ensure proper social distancing.
Hello, thanks for asking! Diesel is open for pick-up & delivery (via GrubHub). Andy, Brian, and Timothy are right! Orders can be placed contactless via the Toast Takeout app or on our website, or at the in-store kiosk. Hand sanitizer is available for use before & after using the kiosk. Customers are required to wear masks and the waiting area is a large open space to ensure social distancing. Strict COVID-19 policies are in place for staff that go beyond the Somerville guidelines and we have established protocols to ensure that employees can practice social distancing in the workplace. Face masks are required, staff must frequently wash their hands, and we regularly sanitize “high touch areas” and maintain clean work spaces. When outdoor seating is available (seasonal), benches are sanitized between guests, and we take contact info for contact tracing.
When picking up your order they have those sliding order windows. I think I've seen hand sanitizer in the customer area. I order online for pickup and have been happy with the process.
You can also order online and pick up in the store.
