How long are you on a list for after you've taken a test? (I took an Administrative School Aide test in Nov 2016, received a score of 94%, I was #14 on the list, and have received one letter since then). What's up with that?

A list can be established for a minimum of one year and a maximum of four. Once you accept an appointment your name comes off the list. While the test was given it, there may not be many vacancies. Also, districts are given the ability to select a residency list or a county wide list. These can impact your chances of getting canvassed.
