Horrible, had an issue with work and not being able to take an exam. I was told by 3 ppl it’s no problem they will let you reschedule to just send an email. Waste of time was told working isn’t an excuse to reschedule. Then was told over the phone to email Stanley pec his super nice yeah that was a lie as well. And they can care less if your a first responder was well.

Call the main office, they will help you do so.
Your best bet is to visit in person for now.
If you go to the office in person you can sign up for an exam on paper. Electronic enrollment is not currently available.

The department of public works has a listing of non-competitive and labor class openings. These positions don't require you to take a test. As for competitive positions, as long as you meet the minimum qualifications of an exam you can register to take it. I just wouldn't sign up for an exam that was related to your felony.
I only proctor tests. I suggest you call the Suffolk County Civil Service Dept. to answer your question.
It is not part of the grade, but it is necessary for you to be placed on the list. It's a qualifying exam.
