My property was stolen from my apartment and the police will not help me file the report the correct way..I asked for help several times for the Report to be corrected for insurance purposes. and they refuse I believe my Ex landlord has some connection with someone that works there… Seriously what’s this world coming too can’t even trust our local police officers.. Officers helped my husband Officer J Levy & a female officer whose name was not on report were extremely kind & concerned . They were professional & reassuring . His car was run off the road due to debris falling on the LIE. I went to get him & cannot thank them enough GOD BLESS SCPD.

You may want some free legal advice first then you can I am sure file a report or consult your local precinct on what to do. But try nassua/Suffolk law services which is free and or Catholic charities has free legal advice still I believe.
Contact local precinct and or set up closed circuit television (camera on your property which views road) and or try use your phone to get video evidence plus clear image of license plate and take such evidence to local precinct to file a report on such offenses.
