Yes. You do have to get a membership card, but all you have to do is show your ID. I was never asked anything about income.
Barbara, you can certainly visit the facility which offers many informative programs. To "shop", you must meet "minimum income requirements". Take a visit & they can help you (I am not sure where Mr. Tanner's "200%" info comes from).

Barbara anyone in the community can access UP's education, workforce and crisis programs. To qualify to become a member of the Member Share Grocery Program your household must be at or below 200% of the current Federal Poverty Level.
