Pretty cool spot. Very close to an urban development but so untamed once you get deep in. A haven for blue land crabs 🦀 amongst a slew of other coastal and brackish animals and plants. The dense red mangroves and tannin red water in the marsh is a crazy cool backdrop the the 3+ miles of trail. The short adventure trail was pretty cute but I wish it was a bit more adventurous. Check out my vid and pics of my trip through 🤙🫶

I love the immersion into the different ecosystems. There are many animals to see.

Fun hammock trail with longer bike trails.

I agree the garbage situation is "off". There really should be something more than whats on the pier & can SHOULD BE emptied at least twice a week! (Maybe a good neighbor would volunteer?)!!!
Yes... But it is extremely boring after the first quarter mile it opens up that ice nothing but gravel around the swamp
Yes there is a lagoon area with a wooden boardwalk that is perfect for fishing
We take our dogs there. There is a leash law. There are alligator warnings in some spots on the loop. We do not let our dogs in the water here. I don't feel safe doing so. Go to Walton Rocks Beach just south of the nuclear plant. If your dog likes to swim, it's worth the ride.
Absolutely good way to introduce clean air and leaves
