We didn't have a problem, and our carrier is terrible.
It depends. I have had Bluegrass Cellular (the local carrier) and Verizon. Both are intermittent at various places.
Not too bad. Most people get 2-4 bars. Depends on carrier though. I've has a few who didn't get any service. Not sure who they had. I've had Verizon, AT&T, and T Mobile. All of them worked here. Some better than others.
