Stopped in for something to do with kids. Saw the reviews on here and thought it sounded fun. Mistakes were made. This place was a total waste of money. I am pretty sure the person at the front was incapable of smiling. She was very unfriendly and looked like she was on the verge of dying of boredom. Would have thought human interaction would be something she'd be craving. Perhaps she couldn't recall how to interact with humans. The taxidermy was showing its age. The signs were in need of repair. The signs mostly looked to be written using an old label maker. One of the signs looked to be written on the cardboard insert from a Hostess® donuts. I wish I was making that up. I did learn that the lion is no longer the king of the jungle, but has been demoted to the king of the forest. Mufasa would be turning in his grave. I am really hoping the lobster sign was in jest. It was "purchased from the local Kroger" for the exhibit.

This was better than expected. It is small and quaint. Clean, bright, maintained but still able to maintain its frozen in time feel. We spent 45 min going through with 5, 8, and 11 year old boys. The oldest said - this place is so cool I lost track of time. Let me tell you, that is high praise. 😀

Had to pay cash,or they charge extra for credit cards. Odd? Fair price for what you get to see.

Blast from the past! Has route 66 vibes for sure. Right off I-65. When your done with the museum and your in the gift shop. Go to the far side and to the left of the fortune teller machine there is a whole insect room complete with just about every gorgeous butterfly imaginable! Definitely worth a stop. You could spend 45 - 60 min and see it all.

Unfortunately we do not allow pets in the building because a few people ruin it for the whole. We allow service animals only.
I'm sure if you go in and get an application they would talk with you about it more.
No reservations required
Not sure call them
